Belmopan, Belize, June 08, 2016: On June 08, 2016, Guardian Group formerly launched its new brand and partnership with Simpson’s Insurance Agency Limited at a Breakfast launch and Media Conference at the Board Room, BEST WESTERN Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel. Through its new strategic partnership with Simpson’s Insurance Agency Limited, Guardian Group has strengthened its legacy of providing the best quality general insurance products and services to its clients in Belize.
Larry Olton, Group Vice President Integrated Marketing Communications officially revealed the Guardian Group logo and spoke to the strategic positioning of the largest financial services company, operating in 21 territories in the English and Dutch Caribbean. As part of his presentation, Mr. Olton highlighted key milestones of Guardian Group financial performance for 2015, including its Total Revenue of US $729 million, US$ 806 million in Gross Premiums Written and US$ 3.5 billion in Assets Under Management. According to the VP Integrated Marketing Communications, “with a legacy of over 167 years Guardian Group, is reinvigorated by its renewed focus on One Group One Vision and a mandate of continuous improvement in service delivery and innovative products in our core business.”
Terry-Ann Wilson, Manager Overseas Operations spoke to Guardian General Insurance Limited’s 28 year legacy of service in Belize previously trading as NEMWIL. On the January 1, 1987, Guardian General Insurance Ltd (GGIL) commenced operations in Belize trading under the name N.E.M (West Indies) Insurance Ltd (NEMWIL), represented by different insurance agencies in the ensuing period. Now in 2016, Guardian General strengthens its legacy of service to the market through its new partnership with Abel Simpson of Simpson’s Insurance Agency Limited.

Best Company the foremost rating agency specialized in analysing the financial strength of insurance companies. Ms. Wilson expressed the importance of this rating to the company and assured those present of Guardian General’s commitment to exceptional quality and service delivery in providing all classes of General Insurance including commercial, liability, marine, residential, motor, marine and travel.
