Port-of-Spain, Trinidad June 11, 2015: Guardian Group will host over 800 children from primary schools across Trinidad to meet Trinidad and Tobago’s Red Steel Cricket Team at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port-of-Spain on Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 11:00am -1:30pm. Members of the media are invited to cover this exciting event.
Guardian Group has been a partner of the Caribbean Premier League since its inaugural year 2013 and as part of its corporate social responsibility programme for 2015 is providing an opportunity for the young cricketers from the 41 primary schools that are participants in the Trinidad and Tobago’s Primary Schools Cricket League to meet the players of the TT Red Steel team during their practice session at the QPCC. There will be a short programme including brief remarks from Cricket Legend and President of the Queen’s Park Cricket Club, Deryck Murray, TT Red Steel Coach Simon Helmot, the Manager Collin Borde and Dwayne Bravo, Captain of the TT Red Steel. The children will then get an opportunity to interact with the players and get some helpful tips on how to improve their game.
