Guardian Group is proud to reaffirm its commitment to academic development through sport, recognising its vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders. As part of this mission, Guardian Group supported Mateo Mollineau in representing Trinidad and Tobago at the Caribbean Region Table Tennis Federation (CRTTF) Youth U-15 & U-19 Championships from 20th to 26th April 2025 in Barbados.
Mateo, his mother and his coach, paid a courtesy visit to Guardian Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Greer Quan at Guardian Group’s Head Office in Westmoorings on Thursday 8th May, 2025, to express their gratitude and to share Mateo’s achievements.
Greer Quan, Group Chief Operating Officer – Guardian Group, congratulates Mateo Mollineau, with Mateo’s mother, Maria Katerie and Kwame Laurence – Chairman, Crusaders Table Tennis Club during their visit to Guardian Group.
At just 12 years old, and with only two and a half years of experience in the sport, Mateo has shown exceptional discipline, focus and skill. These qualities earned him a place on the National U-15 Boys Table Tennis Team and an A2 classification, which is the second highest Table Tennis designation.
Mateo’s journey is an inspiring example of what young people can achieve when given the support and opportunity to thrive. At Guardian, we believe that sport is a powerful vehicle for academic development and character building.
Through partnerships like these, Guardian Group continues to support Caribbean youth potential —helping to develop well-rounded individuals who are equipped to lead both in sport and in life.
