The National Secondary Schools Entrepreneurship Competition (NSSEC) 2025 came to an exciting close on Tuesday 11 November, 2025 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Guardian Group Division winners Vessigny Secondary School, Holy Faith Convent Couva and Scarborough Secondary School captured top honours in the Innovators, Trendsetters, and Masterminds categories, following weeks of competition that showcased creativity, innovation, and business acumen.

Ayesha Boucaud-Claxton, Group Head, Marketing and Communication at Guardian Group, underscored NSSEC’s role as a national economic accelerator—shaping the next generation of business leaders. “New jobs in emerging economies come from small and medium enterprises and those enterprises often start with one thing: a young person with an idea,” she said. “You’ve shown what the next generation of trailblazers looks like—bold, curious, unstoppable.”
