Guardian Group extended support to our neighbours in Jamaica, Grenada, and Carriacou following Hurricane Beryl. The Group donated TT$200,000 partnering with N.C.B. Foundation in Jamaica and the Living Waters Community in Trinidad and Tobago to assist with relief efforts.
In addition, Guardian Group called on employees to support the relief efforts by donating essential items such as non-perishable food and toiletries. Employees responded generously, providing cases of water, cleaning supplies, baby products, canned food, packaged goods, and hygiene products.
Ayesha Boucaud-Claxton, Group Head, Marketing and Communication, stated, “The generous contributions of our employees will be crucial in bringing hope and stability to those impacted by this devastating situation. On behalf of the Group, I wish to express gratitude to our staff for their responsiveness. The actions are a tangible expression of our commitment to providing peace of mind to the communities we serve,” she added.
Guardian Group delivered the donated supplies to the Living Waters Community on Friday 26th July 2024, to coordinate dissemination to the affected islands.
